AI tools are great at writing HTML, but the design work still happens in Figma. Open HTML to Figma bridges the gap: pick a local HTML file (or paste it), choose a viewport, and the page lands in Figma as nested Frames, rich-text layers, vectors and image fills you can keep editing.
It doesn't reimplement CSS. The plugin renders the page in an isolated browser window at the viewport you pick, waits for fonts and images, measures every box, and rebuilds the tree with the same positions, per-side borders, radii, gradients, shadows and the browser's own line breaks. Nothing leaves Figma except the requests the page itself makes.
In September 2026 I rebuilt the capture and builder for closer WYSIWYG imports, then gave it a strawberry-matcha liquid-glass UI and a mascot that reacts while it works: its cheeks charge while the page renders, it smiles when the layers land, and its ears droop when something goes wrong.
